How to set up Autobooking with GHL

Step-by-Step Instructions to Set Up Auto-Booking with GHL for Charlie

  1. Log In:

    • Access your Charlie dashboard.

  2. Navigate to AI Sets:

    • On the left-hand side, click on AI Sets.

    • Select the use case where you want to set up auto-booking.

  3. Integrate Go High Level (GHL):

    • Go to Integrations.

    • If your GHL account is not yet integrated:

      • Click on Integrate.

      • Follow the prompts to connect your sub-account.

    • If your GHL account is already integrated:

      • Confirm the integration by checking the account name or select Reintegrate if needed.

  4. Enable Auto-Booking:

    • Go back to the selected use case.

    • On the right-hand side, scroll to Booking and open the dropdown menu.

    • Toggle Auto Booking to "On."

    • Select Go High Level as the integration.

    • Choose the appropriate calendar associated with your integrated sub-account.

  5. Adjust Time Zone Settings:

    • If you are a local business (e.g., gym or dental office):

      • Turn on the time zone lock to ensure bookings are made in the local time zone.

    • If you serve clients across multiple time zones (e.g., U.S., Canada):

      • Leave the time zone lock turned off to allow Charlie to adjust bookings based on the lead's time zone.

  6. Edit the Call-to-Action (CTA):

    • Update the last question in your use case script (e.g., "Are you open to a 30-minute complimentary call?").

    • Instead of sending a link, modify the script to say:

      • "Okay, awesome! To get you booked in, may I ask what time zone you're in?"

    • Charlie will take over from here and handle the booking automatically.

  7. Additional Steps for Messenger or Instagram:

    • If using Facebook Messenger or Instagram:

      • Add a question to capture the lead’s email after they agree to book a call.

      • Example:

        • Q4: "Are you open to a 30-minute call?"

        • If "Yes": "Great! To get started, what's your email?"

        • Then: "Awesome! What time zone are you in?"

      • This ensures the lead’s email is tied to the booking in GHL.

  8. Adjust Follow-Ups for Hunts:

    • If using follow-up messages (Hunts), remove calendar links.

    • Use follow-up scripts such as:

      • "Haven’t seen anything come in yet. Are you still open to the call?"

  9. Test the Setup:

    • Verify that leads can book calls through the new auto-booking system seamlessly.

    • Ensure the email and time zone capture is working as intended for Messenger or Instagram leads.
