Step-by-Step Guide: Overview of Actions and Branches in AI Setter

Step 1: Understanding Actions

  • What Actions Do:

    • Actions are used to determine what happens next in your AI sequence based on a specific condition or response from a lead.

    • For example, if a lead is interested in booking a call or seeing a live demo, you can set up an action to proceed with a call-to-action (CTA). If the lead is not interested, you can disqualify them.

Step 2: Setting Up an Action

  1. Create an Action in AI Setter:

    • Go into your test campaign (or any campaign you're working on).

    • Navigate to the objective you want to create an action for, such as asking the lead if they're interested in booking a call or seeing a demo.

  2. Action Example:

    • For the question, "Are you interested in booking a live demo?" create an action that leads to different outcomes based on the lead’s response:

      • If 'No': Disqualify the lead and stop further interaction (e.g., move them to a disqualification message).

      • If 'Yes': Send the lead to the CTA message where they can proceed with the booking.

  3. Create the Action:

    • Inside your AI Setter, click on the action button and create the condition based on the lead’s response. For example:

      • If the lead says 'No', disqualify them by moving them out of the sequence.

      • If the lead says 'Yes', proceed with the next question or CTA.

  4. Advanced Customization:

    • You can skip questions or direct leads to other parts of your workflow. For example, if they respond positively to certain questions, you can skip ahead to a later part of the conversation or CTA.

Step 3: Branching Off from the Main Sequence

  • What Branches Do:

    • Branches are used to create a separate pathway or sequence for leads based on their responses.

    • For example, if a lead isn’t interested in your primary offer but you still want to nurture them or send them to a free resource, you can use a branch to guide them through a different journey.

Step 4: Setting Up a Branch

  1. Create a Branch in AI Setter:

    • In your test campaign, identify where you want to branch off from the main flow.

    • Click on the Branch option, and select the point where the branch should start.

  2. Branch Example:

    • If a lead is disqualified but you still want to nurture them, you can create a branch that sends them a freebie or guides them to a different opt-in page.

    • For example, if the lead isn’t interested in booking a call, but you still want to keep them engaged, branch them to a sequence where you offer free resources or low-ticket offers.

  3. Building the Branch:

    • Once the branch is created, you can customize the messages and actions within that branch, such as sending them a free resource or further nurturing content.

    • You can move the lead into this branch by selecting the branch option in the action settings.

Step 5: Disqualification Messages

  1. Disqualification Handling:

    • When a lead is disqualified based on an action, you can customize the message they receive. This is typically a “catch-all” message, but it can be personalized based on your brand tone.

  2. Example Message:

    • If a lead is disqualified, you can send a polite message thanking them for their time and offering a free resource. For example:

      • “Thank you for your time. While we may not be able to assist you right now, here’s a free guide on [topic]. We’ll follow up if any other opportunities arise.”

  3. Dynamic Disqualification Messaging (Future Feature):

    • AI Setter is working on allowing multiple disqualification messages in the future, but for now, you can only send one message. Make sure this message is appropriate for all disqualified leads.

Step 6: Summary of Use Cases for Actions and Branches

  • Actions: Use actions to determine the flow of the conversation based on specific conditions (e.g., lead response, interest level).

  • Branches: Use branches to guide leads down different paths based on their responses, such as sending them to a freebie or nurturing sequence if they’re disqualified from the main offer.
