Step-by-Step Setup Guide for Testing Charlie Talks AI Phone Setter

Step 1: Access the Test Environment

  1. Log in to Dashboard: Ensure you have access to the test environment for configuring your AI phone setter.

Step 2: Create a New Voice Setter

  1. Navigate to AI Setter Configuration: Go to the AI setter configuration section on your dashboard.

  2. Click on New Setter: Select the option to create a new setter.

  3. Select Voice Setter: Instead of the DM setter, choose the voice setter option.

  4. Name and Customize: Give your new voice setter a name and select a color.

Step 3: Configure AI Setter Settings

  1. General Settings: Access the AI setter settings page.

  2. Workflow Overview: Review the entire workflow, similar to the DM setter configuration.

  3. Add Objections: Configure objections for your voice setter to handle various scenarios.

Step 4: Input Business Information

  1. Settings Section: Navigate to the settings section on the left-hand side.

  2. Business Information: Enter your business's legal address and phone number to comply with SECS FCCS requirements.

  3. Select Model and Voice: Choose the model (recommend 4.0 turbo) and select the voice (e.g., Jennifer from Play HT).

Step 5: Voice Configuration

  1. Configure Voice Settings:

    • Background De-noising: Enable background de-noising.

    • Voice Speed: Set the voice speed to 1x for normal pacing.

    • Skip Fill Injection: Do not enable fill injection as it is still under testing.

Step 6: Set Up Conversational Flow

  1. Intro Messages and Questions: Add introductory messages and questions.

  2. Instructions for AI: Provide instructions on how the AI should handle each question.

  3. Objections Handling: Input various objections and the corresponding responses.

Step 7: Publish and Test

  1. Publish Changes: After configuring your settings, click on the "Publish" button to save changes.

  2. Test the AI Setter: Use the “Talk with Voice” feature to test the AI phone setter’s responses.

    • Example Interaction: Initiate a conversation and evaluate the AI's performance in handling queries and objections.

Step 8: Access and Further Testing

  1. Access Link: You will receive a link to access the test configurations.

  2. Role-Playing: Begin configuring and role-playing with the AI setter to ensure it meets your requirements.

  3. Prepare for Live Deployment: Additional videos and instructions will be provided for deploying the AI setter live.
