April 2025, Release notes
Last updated: November 19, 2025
This is what smoothness means: April made Charlie feel less like a script and more like a real conversation. These four updates give you more control over voice flows, make messaging feel natural, keep conversations alive after the pitch, and let you train agents in real-time.

1. Voice Instructions Before CTA
Voice agents can now follow custom instructions before delivering a CTA. This means confirming details, stating legal disclaimers, or asking qualifying questions before offering the next step.
What this unlocks:
More control and flexibility in every voice conversation
Ability to ensure compliance or confirmation before moving forward
Customizable pre-CTA flows that adapt to your specific needs
2. Auto-Split Messaging for Natural Conversations
Charlie now automatically breaks up longer responses into smaller, natural chunks that feel like how people actually text. Enable this feature in your DM setter to make conversations more human.
Highlights:
No more long blocks of text that feel robotic
Messages arrive in multiple parts, just like real texting
Makes your AI agent sound more thoughtful and easier to follow
3. Continue Conversations After CTA
When auto-booking is turned off, Charlie can now keep conversations going after hitting the CTA. If someone asks a follow-up question or needs more info, Charlie answers while still guiding them toward the call to action.
Benefits:
Unlocks smarter flows and support-style use cases
Less script-like, more natural interactions that adapt to leads
Conversations don't abruptly end after the pitch
4. Live Feedback in Charlie Playground
Train your agents on the spot through real conversations in Playground. Chat with your agent, rate responses, and add suggestions in plain languageโno tech skills required.
Highlights:
Shape how agents perform before they talk to live leads
All feedback is logged in the agent's knowledge base for tracking
Hands-on training made simple with real-time refinement
