GHL: Load Snapshot

Last updated: April 7, 2026

Our native integration with GHL allows seamless integration with your company's CRM. We require access to the GHL account's Snapshot to upload essential workflows for Charlie, including: Native Workflows, Kill Switch Workflow, Custom Values for Charlie and Voice setter workflow (add-on)

GHL Snapshot set up

Prerequisites

GHL restricts snapshot uploads to accounts with agency admin access.

  1. If you have agency admin access: We can load the snapshot directly for you

  2. If you don't have agency admin access: We'll send you the snapshot link to share with your agency admin

Are you unsure?: Try loading the snapshot yourself using the link below. If GHL blocks you, forward the link to your agency owner.

Step by step guide

Step 1: Load the Snapshot

Snapshot link: https://affiliates.gohighlevel.com/?fp_ref=systems-by-design60&share=9zDKTKoNrvW8tAgLEfoY

Action: Click the link and follow GHL's prompts to import the snapshot into your sub-account.

How to confirm it loaded:

  • Check Automations - You should see Charlie workflow folders

  • Check Settings > Custom Values - You should see "Charlie API Key" listed

Note: This is a standard snapshot link for all clients. We'll personalize your workflows and connect your specific use cases after the snapshot is loaded.

Step 2: Add Your Charlie API Key

Even though the snapshot creates the API key field, you still need to manually paste your unique key.

Where to Find Your API Key?

Option 1 - Charlie Dashboard: Go to your AI Setters section and click the "Charlie API Key" button. This automatically copies the key to your clipboard.

Option 2 - Provided by Support: If you don't see the button, contact support and we'll provide your key directly.

Where to Paste It?

Location: GHL Settings > Custom Values > Charlie API Key

  1. Open your GHL sub-account

  2. Go to Settings > Custom Values

  3. Find "Charlie API Key"

  4. Paste your key (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V)

  5. Save

This can be performed by the agency admins and sub-account users with appropriate permissions to paste the API key.
